Who We Are

Dr. Nicole

Nicole M. Hewitt has been married for 23 years and is the parent of three children. She holds a PhD in Administration and Leadership Studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MSW from the University of Pittsburgh. Her passions include teaching, small group facilitation, empowerment-based practice with families, multicultural initiatives in faith-based organizations, & leadership development. She is an adjunct professor at Shippensburg University & Harrisburg Area Community College. She is widely involved in service within her church and community, & most enjoys co-facilitating workshops with her husband, Dr. Robert Hewitt.

Nicole is an experienced speaker, conference presenter & workshop facilitator. She especially enjoys spending time with groups of parents, facilitating fun & interactive experiences through which, together, they explore how to marry creativity with intentionality while planting a living walk with Christ into their kids!

Items Nicole can assist with:

  • Design an evaluation process compatible with project objectives
  • Conduct on-site observations and consultations
  • Review data collection, analysis and recording processes; recommend needed modifications
  • Assess and revise project evaluation implementation timeline and provide a schedule for conducting data gathering, analysis and reporting
  • Provide technical assistance as needed
  • Prepare and submit final evaluation reports

 

  • Assist in assessing project participants’ training needs at the start of projects
  • Design project questionnaires, interview protocols, checklists, rating scales and other project-developed instruments in partnership with project staff
  • Assist in identifying non-project comparison groups
  • Assist in submitting projects for validation as national models
