Dr. Robert L. Hewitt is Professor Emeritus of Social Work (Shippensburg University), having received his undergraduate degree from Bluffton University in 1969, his MSW from Wayne State University in 1971, and his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh in 1985. Dr. Bob is an accomplished educator, trainer, consultant, popular lecturer, and keynote speaker with over 50 years of national and international experience. His aim is to live out those qualities, values, and principles that he encourages his audience to follow. His presentations are filled with wisdom, lessons learned from his own life, and faith walk.
Bob’s motivational speeches and talks continue to contain an important life lesson: If I have learned anything …I have learned that it’s not the iffy-ness of life events that matter or the snap shots of life situations…what really matters is the intentional, direction of one’s life in Christ…the ability to get back up after getting knocked down, sticking to it even when it would be easier to just give up and go in another direction, standing up for something right…even when you are standing alone.
