Dr. Robert L. (Bob) Hewitt is Professor Emeritus of Social Work (Shippensburg University), having received his undergraduate degree from Bluffton University in 1969, his MSW from Wayne State University in 1971, and his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh in 1985. This Massillon, Ohio native is an accomplished educator, trainer, consultant, popular lecturer, and keynote speaker with over 50 years of national and international experience. His aim is to live out those qualities, values, and principles that he encourages his audience to follow. His presentations are filled with wisdom, lessons learned from his own life, and faith walk, with humorous antidotes liberally sprinkled in the discussion. Recognized and awarded by the Bureau of PA State Children and Youth Programs as an outstanding motivational presenter, trainer and consultant, he has also been recognized by the Shippensburg University Provost & Dean of the College of Education & Human Services as an exceptionally effective teacher. Bob was included in both the 7th and the 10th editions of Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.
